Can ARDSbe prevented?

We sure think so!

If someone has not personally been affected by Sepsis or ARDS, or know someone who has, then chances are they have never heard of these conditions. It's astonishing that a condition that kills hundreds of thousands of people annually remains anonymous. It is important to bring awareness because the public does not really know about Sepsis and ARDS.

Patients who develop Sepsis and ARDS are often those who are critically ill, and who have presented other illnesses or ailments. We focus on Sepsis as it is the leading cause in developing ARDS. Through education we can help prevent to occurrence of Sepsis in hospital settings. We can try to eliminate the possibility of developing the respiratory illnesses, like pneumonia and influenza by advocating best practice and whole patient centered health directives including routinely vaccinating.
